For a consulate party in Los Angeles, the client needed quick, good-looking ways to split the room into zones and add privacy—without building permanent walls. Evergreen Event Rental delivered and installed 30+ modular hedge panels, then picked everything up within a tight load-out window.

Overview

Evergreen Event Rental supported an events client in Los Angeles with one clear goal: define space and add privacy for a consulate party. The venue needed clean boundaries for guest flow and a few separate moments within the same footprint—without the look or hassle of pipe-and-drape.

We provided modular hedge rentals built for events—dense, tidy, and consistent on camera—while keeping the process easy for the client. Delivery, setup, and pickup were included, so the onsite team didn’t have to juggle multiple vendors or figure out where to store anything after the event.

The Challenge

The client needed the room to feel organized. They wanted distinct areas that felt intentional (not makeshift), while still keeping the environment open and social. Privacy mattered too—separation where it counted, without turning the space into a maze.

Timing was the other constraint. Like a lot of Los Angeles events, the schedule was tight and access windows were limited, so the install had to be fast and predictable, with a plan that wouldn’t create last-minute problems during load-in or load-out.

Our Solution

We worked with the client’s point of contact to plan where greenery could do the most: guide movement, break up sightlines, and create pockets of privacy. The aim was clear zones while keeping traffic flow and visibility comfortable for guests.

For the build, we brought in 30+ modular hedge panels (5' x 8', single-sided). The modular setup let us fit the layout to the room instead of forcing the room to match a fixed kit. The materials are UV-resistant, which helps the greenery keep a consistent look under bright conditions and event lighting.

Implementation

Evergreen Event Rental delivered to the Los Angeles site and staged the panels so the install could move quickly. Since the units are modular, our crew placed and aligned the main runs first, then adjusted spacing and angles once the footprint was set.

We timed setup around the event schedule so other teams could keep working—lighting, florals, and operations. After the party, we came back for pickup within the agreed window, removed the hedge rentals, and kept load-out simple for the venue and the client team.

Results

The hedge rentals created instant zones—privacy where it was needed, plus clear separation between different parts of the event. The room felt planned instead of improvised, and the greenery softened edges both in photos and in person.

On the logistics side, having delivery, installation, and pickup handled took work off the client’s plate. They got the separation they wanted without building anything permanent, and the modular format let us adapt to the real constraints of the space and schedule.
