Area15 VIP Space Build
Double-sided 4x4 hedge rental layout creating VIP areas at Area15 Las Vegas

Project Snapshot
This installation features our boxwood hedge walls solution for a corporate events event format. For this project, Evergreen Event Rental handled design alignment, delivery, setup, and strike.
Case Study
Evergreen Event Rental helped an events client at AREA15 in Las Vegas define a private VIP zone using 4x4 double-sided hedge rentals. Modular panels, UV-resistant materials, and coordinated delivery/pickup made setup clean and vendor-friendly.
A private event at AREA15 needed a VIP area that felt planned, photographed well from every angle, and didn’t get in the way of other vendors. We used our 4x4 double-sided hedge rentals to lay out the footprint quickly and create clean separation without any permanent build.
Overview
For a private event at AREA15 in Las Vegas, the client needed a clear VIP zone that could go in fast and still look polished in photos. The ask was straightforward: create privacy and a clear boundary without making the space feel closed off.
Evergreen Event Rental provided 4 foot by 4 foot double-sided hedge rentals to shape the footprint. The panels are modular, connect into longer runs, and use UV-resistant materials—which helps in bright desert light.
Delivery and pickup were included, keeping the schedule simple and letting the event team focus on programming and guests instead of transportation or teardown logistics.
The Challenge
AREA15 events usually have multiple vendors building at the same time, often with tight load-in windows. The client needed a VIP area that guests could read instantly and staff could manage easily, without hard walls or anything permanent.
They also needed the VIP footprint marked out early. If the perimeter isn’t set first, other teams (furniture, bar, lighting, signage) start making assumptions about where the space begins and ends—then time gets wasted moving pieces and redoing the layout.
And since the boundary would be visible from several angles, it had to look finished on both sides, not like a "back of house" divider.
Our Solution
We suggested our 4x4 double-sided hedge panels to outline the VIP perimeter. The double-sided construction is the whole point in a venue like AREA15: the VIP side stays lush and camera-ready, and the public-facing side looks just as complete.
The modular setup kept things flexible. We weren’t locked into one fixed wall length—we could build to the footprint they wanted and tweak it as the floor plan came together.
And because the materials are UV-resistant, the hedges keep their color under strong lighting and daytime exposure—handy in Las Vegas, where bright light can make faux greenery look washed out fast.
Implementation
We lined up delivery with the event’s load-in window and placed the hedge panels first to establish the VIP footprint early. That "outline first" approach keeps the build moving: once the perimeter is down, every other vendor can work faster because there’s no question where furniture, bars, step-and-repeats, or stanchions belong.
On site, we set the modular panels into a continuous boundary, creating clear entrances and breaking sightlines where needed. Since the hedges are double-sided, we didn’t have to hide an unfinished back—every angle looked ready for guests.
After the event, we came back for pickup and teardown. The client didn’t need to store anything, arrange return shipping, or manage extra breakdown labor beyond standard venue requirements.
Results
The client ended up with a VIP area that was immediately obvious to guests and staff, with the same clean look from inside and outside the space. The hedge line created separation without any hard construction, so the setup stayed event-friendly and easy to adjust.
Setting the perimeter early helped the other vendors work without second-guessing. Instead of having to rework placements later, teams could drop furniture and décor in the right spots the first time because the VIP footprint was already there.
From a design angle, the double-sided hedge gave a consistent finish—dense greenery on every visible face—while the modular format still read like a custom build, even though it was rental-based.
