Hendrick's Gin Stagecoach
Custom hedge experience build for Hendrick's Gin at Stagecoach

Project Snapshot
This installation features our custom creations solution for a festivals event format. For this project, Evergreen Event Rental handled design alignment, delivery, setup, and strike.
Case Study
Evergreen Event Rental partnered with Hendrick’s Gin’s in-house team to build a custom 25' x 25' modular experience cube for Stagecoach 2023 in Indio, California—using thin, mountable hedge panels with delivery, setup, pickup, and UV-resistant materials.
For Stagecoach 2023 in Indio, Hendrick’s Gin needed a branded structure that could take the desert heat and constant foot traffic. We built a fully custom 25' x 25' experience cube using thin, mountable hedge panels, plus a dedicated entry hedge to set the tone the moment guests stepped in.
Overview
Hendrick’s Gin came to Evergreen Event Rental with a straightforward goal for Stagecoach 2023 in Indio, California: build a one-of-a-kind experience cube that felt immersive, stayed on-brand, and could handle a busy festival setting.
Over a two-month timeline, we partnered with their in-house design team to develop a custom 25' x 25' modular cube using greenery rental components that install cleanly, look good on camera, and stand up to desert sun. We also handled delivery and pickup so their team could stay focused on the brand experience—not freight, staging, and timing logistics.
The Challenge
Stagecoach moves fast, especially during load-in and load-out. The client needed something that could go up quickly within festival constraints but still feel deliberate up close—without the obvious “temporary event build” look.
Indio’s site conditions also shaped the material choices. Direct sun and heat can wash out color and make wear show up in photos, so the greenery surfaces had to be UV-resistant and built to stay tight and uniform across a large footprint.
And the cube had to function as an experience, not just a photo wall. The entry needed to draw people in and create a clear moment for product interaction once guests were inside.
Our Solution
We designed a fully custom, modular experience cube built around thin, mountable hedge panels. That gave us a clean exterior, tight seams, and a build that still fit a festival timeline.
To match the client’s layout and brand flow, we added an entryway hedge element that created a real threshold—an immediate shift from the surrounding festival into a more controlled space where Hendrick’s Gin could tell its story.
Stagecoach provided the platform, so we designed around that constraint. The hedge surfaces were built to bolt directly into the platform for stability and a finished look, without needing extra structural work on-site.
Implementation
Before the event, we coordinated directly with the client’s in-house design team to confirm the 25' x 25' footprint, entry placement, and how the hedge surfaces would tie into the Stagecoach-provided platform. Getting that locked early kept last-minute changes from eating into the on-site schedule.
On install day, our crew delivered the rental components and assembled the modular hedge system in sections, then bolted the thin mountable panels into the platform to keep everything aligned and reduce movement under heavy foot traffic. The modular approach helped the finished build stay consistent, even across long runs.
After the event, we handled teardown, pickup, and load-out, breaking the system down in a way that protected the panels for future use while keeping the client’s footprint clear within festival move-out windows.
Results
The finished build created instant definition on-site: a dense, greenery-wrapped experience cube that read as a clear destination inside the Hendrick’s Gin activation. The entry hedge worked as intended—people knew exactly where to go and what they were walking into as they approached.
From a production angle, the modular system and bolt-in install matched how a festival site actually operates. The client got a custom build that still respected the practical realities of load-in, stability, and cleanup.
In the end, Hendrick’s had a one-of-a-kind environment that supported product presentation, held up in desert conditions with UV-resistant materials, and stayed consistent from the first photo of the day through the last guest moving through the space.
