Alex Tarnowski

Alex Tarnowski founded Evergreen Event Rental in 2016 as a rental division of Geranium Street, an artificial plant manufacturer based in Southern California. The initial idea was straightforward: event planners were buying artificial hedge panels for single events, then storing or discarding them afterward. A rental model would give them the same premium look without the waste or upfront cost.

The first jobs were small backdrop walls for San Diego weddings and corporate events. Within a year, the scope expanded to multi-panel configurations, hedge arches, and branded installations for product launches. By 2018, Evergreen was supplying hedge walls for major music festivals including Coachella and Stagecoach, and by 2020 the company had built out a full-service operation covering California, Texas, Nevada, and Arizona.

Today, Alex oversees every project from initial quote through final strike, managing a crew that handles delivery, setup, and teardown for events of every scale. With more than 500 completed installations, the operation has built working relationships with convention centers, resort properties, and festival production teams across all four states.
